You studied abroad and know how it is to start living and studying in a foreign country? You want to be part of an international community?

Great! Please volunteer as a Buddy for our international students and help them starting their studies at RPTU Landau!

You will be the contact person and accompany the arrival and beginning of your international Buddy’s studies, i.e.:

• Being in touch with them before their arrival and helping with moving in,
• Support with important organisational steps, like registering with the city, setting up health insurance and a bank account, …,
• Possibly taking part in events during the Welcome Weeks,
• Share enthusiasm about Landau and the Palatinate region 

You should be:

• Interested in new people and different cultures,
• Reliable, esp. regarding administrative – and for the international Buddy essential – tasks
• Available for the two weeks preceding the lecture period

Before officially becoming a Buddy, you will get perfectly prepared for your new task during a Buddy-Info-Day.

In accordance with the Departments, you can gain 1 ECTS for the “Freier Workload”.
