Visit of ERASMUS students from Kenya and Chile

Group picture of ERASMUS exchange Students from the University of Nairobi, Kenya and from the University of Concepción, Chile.

Students from the Universidad de Concepción (UdeC) in Chile (Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of Environmental Sciences) and the University of Nairobi (UoN) in Kenya (Faculty of Science and Technology) are participating in an international exchange at the Department of Natural and Environmental Sciences as part of the ERASMUS+ program.

During their stay in Landau, the students are attending specific courses in soil and environmental chemistry, which cover both theoretical principles and practical applications. These courses are designed to introduce participants to scientific methods in the fields of environmental analysis, soil quality assessment, pollutant detection, and sustainable environmental management.

Through the exchange, students not only gain in-depth knowledge in the natural sciences, but also valuable experience in an international scientific context. They work together in intercultural groups, use the modern laboratory infrastructure of the RPTU, and learn about modern analytical techniques.
