Together with Luise Werland from the Institute of Environmental Sciences at RPTU, Janpeter Schilling has published a scientific journal article describing which risks pastoralist groups in northern Kenya are exposed to. The risks range from "old" risks such as armed conflict, political marginalization and climate change, to "new" risks such as the reduction of grazing land due to the creation of nature reserves, large wind farms and oil projects. The article was published in the journal PLOS Climate and is available for free here.
