Janpeter Schilling receives the Teaching Award for Digitally Supported Teaching from the University Koblenz-Landau, for his online excursion "Hamburg - City in Transition, City of Contrasts".

Digitisation is one of the major challenges in education. The teaching award of the University of Koblenz-Landau therefore recognises professors who take up this challenge and develop meaningful concepts for the use of digital tools in teaching or for the digitisation of their teaching. Since excursions were not possible during lockdown, but were nevertheless an important course achievement, the online excursion offered a successful solution in pandemic times and made it possible for all students to participate.
