SystemLink is a research training group with an innovative qualification program for early-career researchers studying bottom-up and top-down interactions in terrestrial ecosystems. A key focus is how these interactions propagate from aquatic environments as a consequence of exposure to anthropogenic stressors.

Within SystemLink, our group investigates the interactions between riverine vegetation, soil microbial communities, and carbon cycling processes.
