Clim´Ability Care
Project Description
The aim of the project, as well as its predecessor projects Clim’Ability and Clim’Ability Design, is to identify climate change-related risks and opportunities for businesses in the Upper Rhine region. In the context of climate change, the Upper Rhine region is exposed to a number of specific vulnerabilities that will have noticeable impacts in the coming years on the region’s economic structure, particularly affecting the operations and management of local companies. These companies are to be supported in adapting to climate change through the principles of early warning and mitigation, as well as through disaster prevention and management.
The current project, Clim’Ability Care, focuses on promoting a new corporate culture in the Upper Rhine region that aims to prevent climate-, nature-, environmental-, and economic-related risks and to improve joint disaster management. The project intends to identify climate risks, analyze and present strategies, build a network of experts, further develop a toolbox, provide tailored information, and develop adaptation concepts.
Further information and results from the project and its predecessors can be found on the project website.
