Profile of the WG Mathematical Modeling (Sec II & subject)
The "Mathematical Modeling" working group deals with mathematical and didactic/university didactic aspects of modeling and supports the gifted and talented students in the Mathematical Environmental Laboratory in the area of systems thinking. Thematic aspects of mathematical modeling in the context of the SDGs relate to environmental science issues and the health sector and risk management. The working group uses open source software and the concept of Open Educational Resources (see also OCA).
