Research Profile

The Eusserthal Ecosystem Research Station (EERES) deals with the impacts of global change on the biodiversity of inland water bodies and their surrounding areas.
Our research questions address the factors that most strongly influence biodiversity under the effects of global change. EERES focuses mainly on applied research projects, which aim at developing sustainable and climate change-adapted management strategies for biodiversity conservation.
Four main research areas as well as several distinct projects contribute to the research profile of EERES.
