In 2006, I finished my B.Sc. degree in “Biomedical Sciences” at the Lebanese International University in Lebanon, and in 2009 I got a Speciality Diploma degree in “Medical Laboratory Technology” at the same University. In 2020 I did my internship at the Federal Research Centre for Cultivated Plants -Julius Kühn Institute where I gained experience in rearing Drosophila suzukii organisms and running Ecotoxicological tests on it. After that I had the opportunity to start my master thesis there.
My master thesis aims to investigate the side Effect of Microencapsulated Biopesticide Spinosad on Non-target Mites in Viticulture.
The study is to test the toxicity of two spinosad caps candidates on Typhlodromus pyri, Hypoaspis acculeifer and Panonychus ulmi. Therefore, to examine the predator-prey connections and the adverse effects on soil mites which might be exposed to wash off of Spinosad.
