Two poster awards at the GDM Conference 2025!

At this year's GDM Annual Conference, the largest mathematics education conference in the German-speaking world, three posters were once again awarded the WAXMANN Poster Prize. To the delight of the entire Institute of Mathematics and especially the Mathematics Education (Primary Level) working group led by Stephanie Schuler, two of the three prizes went to Chiara Berres (3rd place) and Clara Ries (2nd place). With their posters on "Promoting Diagnostic Competence in Teacher Education" (Chiara Berres) and "Which Teaching Aids Do Teachers Use for What in Early Arithmetic Instruction? – A Quantitative Interview Study in the First School Year" (Clara Ries), as well as their presentations and discussions during the poster session, they succeeded in convincing the jury, which consisted of all attending conference participants. Congratulations to Chiara Berres and Clara Ries on these impressive achievements.
