Based on the importance of the aquatic microbiota, the problem of climate change associated with contamination and anthropogenic activities, the project aims to evaluate the toxicity of a model fungicide to the heterotrophic freshwater microbiota and the influence of natural factors such temperature fluctuations and nutrient levels. The experiments are divided into individual experimentation stages of the species to growth evaluation and in microcosms for analysing decomposition, determination of the fungal biomass, fungal community structure (sporulation), bacterial abundance and analysis of enzymatic activity.
