From June 23 to 26, 2025, the Center for Teacher Education (ZLB) and the Institute for Mathematics (IfM) will host a MINT-EC camp on the campus of RPTU in Landau. Under the title "Mathematical Medicine – Medical Mathematics," 20 selected students from 18 different schools across Germany, as well as from an international school in the USA, will engage with current questions at the intersection of mathematics and medicine.
As part of the multi-day camp, participants attend various workshops that give them insights into research and applications of mathematical modeling at RPTU in Landau. The camp is organized in cooperation with the nationwide Excellence School Network MINT-EC, which supports students who are interested in and committed to mathematics and science.
